Chongqing Lifan recorded their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Chinese Super League newcomers Shijiazhuang Ever Bright behind closed doors in Suzhou on Friday night.

Marcelo Cirino's goal proved the difference in this sixth round match, one that had failed to spark into life in a drab first half.

The winner was accidentally assisted by Ever Bright defender Yang Yun who invited Cirino to fire home from close range after 69 minutes.
