Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min made history on Sunday as the first Asian player to score four goals in a game in Europe’s top five leagues.
The South Korean superstar ran riot for Spurs in their 5-2 away win over Southampton in the English Premier League.
“I think it’s a big honour for me,” he told Spurs TV after the game. “I’m grateful for having this opportunity, I’m grateful for the teammates, especially to Harry [Kane].

Son scored with all four of his shots in the game, with each goal assisted by Spurs and England skipper Kane in what Son described as an “amazing, amazing performance”.
“I’m very happy, I’m very proud and I’m very grateful,” Son added.
