Japanese striker Kyogo Furuhashi introduced himself to Celtic fans in some style with a hat-trick on his home debut for the Glasgow giants, starring in a 6-0 win over Dundee.
The 26-year-old was signed from Vissel Kobe this summer, with new boss Ange Postecoglou raiding the J. League for the striker after the Australian coach arrived at Celtic Park from Yokohama F. Marinos.
Furuhashi netted two goals in the first half, both from close range, before sealing his home debut hat-trick in the second half.
The Japan international was then subbed off to the applause of 24,500 returning fans inside Parkhead.

Furuhashi celebrated the milestone on Twitter.
“Feel grateful to best fans, teammates, team staffs, and everybody who support me to enjoy football. And very happy to be part of this family,” he wrote. “It’s just a beginning … work hard and together we can go higher. Arigato.”

The striker also started an Instagram account following the game, while Celtic have launched an official Japanese language account on the back of their new star.
His goals helped Celtic to a first win of the season after losing their opening game of the campaign. Tom Rogic, Anthony Ralston and Odsonne Edouard added the other goals in the romp.
That is now four goals in two starts for the former Vissel Kobe striker. He netted on his first start for Celtic in the Europa League qualifying win over Jablonec in midweek.
