Cristiano Ronaldo: Manchester United star hints teammates can’t accept criticism – ‘if you don’t want my help, do your job’
- Portuguese superstar says being outside top three in Premier League is unacceptable, and players must give Ralf Rangnick time
- I don’t want to be here in the club to fight to be in sixth or seventh place. I am here to try to win, to compete,’ Ronaldo insists

Cristiano Ronaldo has suggested some of his younger Manchester United teammates are incapable of taking his constructive criticism on board.
The English Premier League club are fighting to salvage something from what has been a torrid season, despite Portuguese superstar Ronaldo’s romantic return to Old Trafford in September.
The 36-year-old five-time Ballon d’Or winner led the team out for last week’s 1-0 home defeat by Wolves, which left them languishing in 7th place in the table, and has demanded the players raise their standards.
“The mature players, the older players, can always help the younger players,” Ronaldo told Sky Sports.
“But I can give you an example if I give you advice, even if you are younger than me, but if that’s not in your plan during your daily life then it will be difficult. You can speak all day with that person, but if it’s not coming from inside of you then it is impossible.
