Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has addressed suggestions that captain Bruno Fernandes could leave at the end of the season.
In an interview with DAZN Portugal, the midfielder made an ambiguous comment about his future, saying: “If I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won’t be until after the Euros.”
He added that he was happy at the club and felt the Red Devils wanted him to stay, and Ten Hag has since indicated that is the case.
“That was taken out of context. I think he is very happy to be here,” the Dutchman said.
Even if the Portugal international goes nowhere, other big names could change club during the European summer transfer window. So who could be on the move?
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

The Egypt forward’s future has become a little less clear of late following a touchline row with outgoing manager Jurgen Klopp.
Salah’s Premier League goal total of 18 this season is his lowest since he has been at Liverpool, although his side have two matches remaining, and he has found himself in and out of the starting line-up.
Potential destinations: Al Ittihad, Paris Saint-Germain
Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)
UK outlet The Telegraph reported the Red Devils would entertain offers for the England forward, though were not actively looking to offload him.
He has been at Old Trafford his entire career, but a difficult campaign marred by off-field issues could lead to his exit.
Potential destinations: Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona
Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain)

Available on a free this summer, it looks like Mbappe will finally leave PSG, with a move to the Bernabeu expected to happen.
His last match for his current club could be against his future employers in the Uefa Champions League final if both sides make it.
Potential destination: Real Madrid
Casemiro + Raphael Varane (Manchester United)
Nine Uefa Champions League medals between them, but injuries, age and earnings mean the new Ineos regime at United could target them for exits this summer.
Varane’s contract expires at the end of the campaign, while Casemiro still has two years left to run on his. It is unlikely any side in Europe would be looking to match their salaries.

Ronald Araujo (Barcelona)

The defender is likely to attract interest as Barcelona look to offload players to ensure they can register new arrivals.
Bayern were interested in his services in January, but they are expected to change manager at the end of the campaign.
Potential destinations: Bayern Munich, Manchester United
Victor Osimhen (Napoli)

One of the hottest properties on the market 12 months ago, interest remains high and the Nigeria forward is expected to leave Napoli at the end of the season.
He is heavily linked with Arsenal. There could, however, be a vacancy opening at the Parc des Princes.
Potential destinations: Arsenal, PSG
Jadon Sancho (Manchester United)
Almost every player at Old Trafford is available for the right price as ruthless Ineos look to make their mark.
Sancho’s time at United has been underwhelming, while his spell on loan at former club Borussia Dortmund has been promising, with a man-of-the-match performance in the Champions League semi-final first leg.
Potential destination: Borussia Dortmund
