The final Uefa Champions League match day will see 18 games played simultaneously, with 25 of the 36 teams still fighting for something.

It is the debut season for this new league format, which features four extra teams and two guaranteed extra matches.

Finishing in the top eight means automatic qualification to the last 16 – where the competition reverts to its traditional knockout format – while teams finishing ninth to 24th go into a play off, and those from 25th to 36th are eliminated.
