The English Premier League title race may effectively be over but we’re entering crunch time in Fantasy Football.
Coming up is Gameweek 28, which is immediately followed by a weekend when four teams will not be playing.
We decided to be topical and ask DeepSeek for a little help – and we’re going to tell you why that is not a good idea.
But first, let’s take a look back at Gameweek 27.
Cold Palmer

Could it finally be time to move on from the Chelsea man?
If Southampton at home didn’t bring around goals and assists, just what would it take to get Cole Palmer (£11.1 million) back on form?
Well, up next is the visit of a Leicester City side who, in their past four matches, have conceded 12 without reply.
So it may be worth hanging on to him for one last dance.
Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah (£13.8m), however, has no such issues. Yes, it was just the one assist against Newcastle, nothing crazy – but he’s so consistent. He scores points every week.
And it’s Southampton at home for the runaway leaders next so there’s, in theory, your triple captain. The concern is that the match is such a gimme and Paris Saint-Germain are at Anfield just three days later, and this could mean a rest for the Egyptian hotshot.
Erling Haaland (£14.7m) returned in the last Gameweek and duly scored and, while it may not have helped their title chances much, Arsenal defender Gabriel (£6.3m) earned another clean sheet with the 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest.
Next up for the Gunners is a trip to Old Trafford, while Forest welcome Haaland and Manchester City.

Could artificial intelligence (AI) be your go-to in your moment of need?
Well, in FPL terms, it’s clear the algorithm needs a bit more work.
For example, one of the “top picks” in defence was Manchester City’s Kyle Walker, described as a “consistent performer with clean sheet potential” – omitting the key fact he left for AC Milan in the January transfer window.
Elsewhere, injured Bukayo Saka (£10.2m), a “consistent performer with goals and assists” was a Gameweek 28 suggestion for midfield. He is not expected back for a month yet. Saka was even put forward as a potential captain.
The aforementioned Palmer was a “budget-friendly option with great form and penalty duties” despite failing to register a goal or assist in any of his past six matches and the third-most-expensive option in the entire league.
Likewise, Phil Foden (£9.2m), who has failed to register a goal contribution in his past four matches, was described as “in great form and a key player for City”.
Its suggested team, in a 3-4-3 formation, was: David Raya (Arsenal); Gabriel (Arsenal), Pedro Porro (Tottenham), Matty Cash (Aston Villa); Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Son Heung-min (Tottenham), Phil Foden (Man City), Cole Palmer (Chelsea); Erling Haaland (Man City) (c), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), Dominic Solanke (Tottenham).
AI is great for a lot of things, but its FPL knowledge needs a bit of patching up.
Darwin’s time to shine

Liverpool v Southampton is arguably one of the most one-sided matchups in Premier League history – but the Reds’ mammoth lead and their European commitments mean it is not clear which superstars will feature.
It could present an opportunity for Darwin Nunez (£7.0m) to shine.
Everton forward Beto (£5.0m) has been in tremendous form since David Moyes’ arrival and faces a Wolves side missing their best player – albeit an attacker in Matheus Cunha (£7.0m). The Brazilian is likely to be facing a lengthy suspension.
Elsewhere, Jarrod Bowen (£7.4m) could be one to look at in midfield. Both he and West Ham have been in good form of late and welcome a Newcastle side who historically don’t enjoy playing in London and will undoubtedly have one eye on next week’s Carabao Cup final.
Manchester United v Arsenal is the “big” game of the weekend. Expect a low-scoring affair, with Gunners defenders your best bet.
