Barcelona will return to Asia for the first time in six years this summer, with pre-season matches lined up in Japan and South Korea, the club confirmed on Monday.

There had been speculation about a potential visit by the Catalans to Hong Kong, but the city does not feature on the tour schedule.

The Spanish double winners will face Japanese side Vissel Kobe in a friendly match on July 27 at the Noevir Kobe Stadium, which holds 30,000 people.

They will finish the tour on August 4 with a match against Daegu FC at the 68,000-capacity Daegu Stadium.
