Cristiano Ronaldo renews contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr until 2027
The announcement, which was foreshadowed by the Portuguese star’s representative visiting Hong Kong, ends months of speculation

Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-year contract extension with Al-Nassr, the Saudi Arabian Pro League side announced on Thursday, following months of speculation over which team he would sign for next season.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is staying at @AlNassrFC until 2027,” the club wrote in a post on X.
Minutes before the official confirmation, the team posted a teaser video, with the 40-year-old Ronaldo walking along a beachfront and saying: “Al Nassr forever.”
The renewal will keep the Portuguese forward at the club well past his 42nd birthday.
Having joined Al-Nassr in 2023 after leaving Manchester United, Ronaldo has scored 99 goals in 111 appearances for the Saudi club, including 35 in 41 matches last season to earn the league’s golden boot award.
Ronaldo’s representative had said earlier on Thursday in Hong Kong that his future would be signed and sealed within hours, amid reports that the Portuguese superstar was close to agreeing a contract extension.
