Asian Tour: Taichi Kho ends streak of missed cuts, happy to keep foot on gas at International Series England
- Kho had not made a cut since winning the World City Championship event at Hong Kong Golf Club in March
- But despite admitting to a small level of frustration, the 22-year-old said he never lost his confidence

The last time Taichi Kho made the cut at an Asian Tour event he ended up winning the whole thing - life has changed a bit since March.
In the intervening months, the 22-year-old Hongkonger has gone home early from tournaments in Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia and the 151st Open Championship.
He has managed one round in the 60s, and had one in the 80s, and also missed making the weekend by the smallest of margins on at least one occasion.
So, the two-under-par 69 he carded in the second round of the International Series England on Friday represented far more than just the backing up of his even-par opening to the tournament at Close House.
And yet, barring a brief show of irritation on Thursday when “not thinking clearly”, there has been little evidence that missed cuts have caused Kho moments of self doubt, loss of confidence, or much frustration.

“I guess part of it’s frustrating, but I knew I had been playing well, so it was just a matter of time,” Kho said. “I wasn’t really focused on the cut, but more so just playing well, and playing my golf, because I know when I do that the cut shouldn’t be an issue whatsoever.
