ATV beat rivals TVB to win the broadcasting rights for the inaugural BOCG Life Hong Kong Premier League.

This season, 20 matches will be covered live in a deal believed to involve a HK$3 million fee paid by the nine clubs and the Hong Kong Football Association.

Each club is guaranteed at least one live match. ATV will also produce a special show to promote local soccer.
