Kitchee's Spanish striker Juan Belencoso clinches AFC Cup top scorer award
Club will strengthen squad ahead of Asian Champions League play-offs after star forward's honours

Kitchee forward Juan Belencoso was announced winner of the this year AFC Cup Top Scorer Award in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
The Spaniard hit the target 11 times during which the Hong Kong champions reached the semi-final stage before losing to Erbil of Iraq.
Kitchee also became the second team from Hong Kong to make it to the AFC Cup last four after South China, who achieved it in 2009.
The club, however, are planning for new overseas players to help Belencoso, now 33, when they start in the Asian Champions League qualifying playoffs in February.
Director of football Chu Chi-kwong said they would be looking for more attacking options from overseas when the transfer window reopens next month. They have to submit their four-member foreign player list, including one from Asian nation, a month before the tournament.
