Santosh Tamang and Zein Williams take titles in Bonaqua Action series
Nepalese Santosh Tamang and British runner Zein Williams took the men’s and women’s titles in the first race of the Bonaqua Action Sprint series in Sai Kung on Sunday, with Williams lowering Claire Chapman’s old course record.

Tamang clocked one hour 17 minutes and 40 seconds to lead the men’s field home.

Australian runner Scottie Callaghan was second, saying: “I’m feeling amazing. At the beginning there were four people ahead of me. Luckily I was good at running downhill and I was able to run faster than others on that section.”
Third overall was top Hong Kong runner Cheung Hing-hung in 1:21:17.
“I am so glad that I broke my personal record,” said Cheung.
British runner Zein Williams won the women’s race in a new record time of 1:33:22.
