It's that man again - striker Daniel McBreen hogged the headlines as South China reached the AFC Cup quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Bengaluru of India at Mong Kok Stadium on Tuesday night.

The big Australian continued his current rich vein of goalscoring with two more to his name and tops the Cup goalscoring table with eight goals, along with Riste Naumou of Myanmar side Ayeyawady United.

The Caroliners have a seven-game winning run in the current AFC Cup competition, including the round-of-16 triumph.

The achievement is compensation for a poor domestic season by South China, who failed to hoist any major silverware.
