World record holders Missy Franklin and Katinka Hosszu will head a star-studded line-up at the Hong Kong leg of the 2015 Fina World Cup at Victoria Park this month.

American Franklin and Hungarian Hosszu won gold medals at last month's world championships in Kazan, Russia, and the pair will be joined by Australian siblings Cate and Bronte Campbell, also world record holders and gold medallists in Kazan.

"It's a very competitive line-up and we are expecting some world records with big prize money at stake," said Ronnie Wong Man-chiu, president of Hong Kong Swimming Association, of the meet to be held from September 25-26.

"It is not very often you get the chance to watch top swimmers in Hong Kong, but more importantly, we want to see these overseas competitors push our own swimmers for better results, so they can reach the A qualifying standard for next year's Rio Olympic Games."

Fina offers hefty prize money for the World Cup series, featuring eight stages in three different clusters a year.
