Asian zone qualifier gives coach an opportunity to stay ahead of 'Big Brother' in their group

Hong Kong coach Kim Pan-gon wants his players to "rise to the occasion" as they tackle Bhutan in the mountainous capital city of Thimphu in tonight's World Cup Asian zone qualifier.
Hong Kong face a must-win situation at Changlimithang Stadium, needing victory to ensure that they stay in touch of Qatar, China and Maldives in group C.

With China having a bye this week, Kim's charges will have a good opportunity to stay in front of "Big Brother" with teams on seven points, three behind group leaders Qatar, who host Maldives in another match.
It is always tough in a World Cup qualifying tournament ... and playing at 2,400 metres above sea level will make it that much more difficult
"We need a win to keep our hopes alive," said coach Kim, who added that a win tonight will boost their confidence ahead of their clash against China in Hong Kong next month.
"We achieved a good result against Bhutan in our home game, but it will definitely be different and harder in Thimphu, especially since our opponents have improved over the last four games. We will have to respect them."

Hong Kong went on a goalscoring spree, thrashing Bhutan 7-0 in their opening game at Mong Kok Stadium in June.
