Hong Kong Olympian earns tie for eighth at the Symetra Tour’s US$100,000 Tullymore Classic in Canadian Lakes
Hong Kong Olympian Tiffany Chan Tsz-ching secured a second top-10 finish in just three Symetra Tour events with a one-under-par 71 final round at the US$100,000 Tullymore Classic.
Chan added to back-to-back opening rounds of 68 to claim a tied for eighth place finish at Tullymore Golf Resort in Canadian Lakes.
The US$2,337 prize cheque took the 23-year-old to US$17,025 from just three events on the second-tier Symetra Tour and up to 25th place on the order of merit.
With 10 events remaining this season, Chan needs to secure a top-10 finish to secure a coveted card on the top-level LPGA Tour next season.
Chan continues her season at this week’s US$200,000 Donald Ross Centennial Classic at French Lick Resort in Indiana.
