Sarah Lee Wai-sze gave herself a shot in the arm ahead of the Worlds as she wrapped up the Asian Championships with her third gold medal in Malaysia on Tuesday.

In a tough six-rider final, Lee narrowly edged out Lee Hye-jin, of South Korea, in the finish with Zhong Tianshi, of China, coming in third at the National Velodrome in Nilai.

Lee won all three events she entered, including the 500-metre time trial and sprint, in the regional championships, emulating her feat of 2017 at the same tourney.
