Kitchee’s AFC Champions League hero Cheng leading the vote for goal of the group stage

Winger scored winner against Kashiwa Reysol at Hong Kong Stadium to net award for match day three, heads poll over other goals of the week

Kitchee winger Cheng Chin-lung ‘s last minute match-winning goal against Japanese J.League side Kashiwa Reysol earned the club Hong Kong’s first ever win in the AFC Champions League and he became the first Hongkonger to score in the competition in doing so.

Now the goal, which won the AFC Goal of the Week award for matchday four, is up against the five other weekly winners to be named the “Goal of the Group Stage”.

Cheng’s last-minute history maker is currently leading by a landslide having polled 90% of the vote – and with Kitchee now out of the Champions League it could be the last thing that the newly crowned Hong Kong Premier League champions win for a while.
You can watch all six goals and cast your vote at the AFC website until April 30.
