Former Ireland captain Trent Johnston is new Hong Kong cricket head coach

  • The 45-year-old, who led Ireland to victories over Pakistan and Bangladesh at the 2007 World Cup, replaces Simon Cook who is returning to England
  • Johnston’s first assignment is to lead Hong Kong at the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in October
