  • Full schedule for city’s riders and where to watch the action

Hong Kong were not in action on the first day of the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Berlin on Wednesday, but the city’s cyclists are expected to be involved until the finish on March 1.

Sarah Lee Wai-sze leads the 11-strong team and several of those riders are hoping to book their Tokyo 2020 tickets with the Olympic challenger, who also defends the keirin and sprint titles in the German capital.

This is the last chance for all of the 400 riders in Berlin, including Hong Kong’s six women and five men, to get points and improve their rankings before the cut-off on March 2.

Here’s how to see London 2012 hero Lee and her teammates as they aim for another Olympic Games.

How can I watch the UCI Track Cycling World Championships?

TVB should have the rights to broadcast in Hong Kong after striking a deal with the cycling association, on the myTV SUPER channel and app.

However, the UCI also live stream the full competition via their official YouTube channel, which should be accessible in Hong Kong when TVB are not broadcasting.
