Officials did not specify on the injury sustained by ONE’s flyweight Muay Thai champ Rodtang, who celebrated his marriage to Aida Looksaikongdin in a second ceremony in Bangkok over the weekend.
Superlek told the Post on Wednesday morning he found out about Rodtang’s injury on Monday, but insisted it is “inevitable” to two Thai superstars will still eventually meet in the ONE Circle.
“I am disappointed that this fight is not happening, but I also understand injuries can happen,” 27-year-old Superlek said. “It happened to me too before, but it was also the fight everyone was looking forward to, so I’m a little bit sad about it.

“We are both in the same weight division. I’m the champion of kickboxing, Rodtang is champion of Muay Thai, so I think in the near future we will have to face each other.
