The UFC officially unveiled its state-of-the-art Performance Institute in Shanghai on Thursday. The 93,000 square-foot facility is nearly three times the size of the original UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, serving as a hub for fighters from mainland China and the Asia-Pacific region to train and develop.


There are multiple cages, rings, mats and striking pads for athletes to get stuck into:




The facility, of course, also provides state-of-the-art weight training equipment.


Athletes can also top up their cardio to make sure they last long into those final rounds.

Fighters can relax and unwind after a hard day's training in the facility's swimming pools.

Of course, recovery is just as important as training:

UFC Performance Institute Shanghai: take a look inside the world’s largest MMA training facility

There will be plenty of Octagons to go around for the UFC athletes in Shanghai at the Performance Institute.

Athletes and visitors alike will be greeted with this sight in the main hallway, with Kelvin Gastelum's knockout win against Michael Bisping at UFC FIght Night 122 in Shanghai immortalised on the wall.

Go through the main entrance and you're eventually greeted with this beautiful sight.

These squat racks may look like they could transform into Optimus Prime at any point, but we're sure they're awesome.

Need a spot?

There are treadmills and rowing machines galore.

Fancy a dip?

We're not sure what a Hypoxic Lab is, but the Shanghai Performance Institute has one.

Or why not try a spot of cryotherapy?

The facility also houses sports science and physical therapy staff for the best in recovery and treatment.

Any aches or pains can be assessed on site.
