It’s been quite the week for videos of UFC veterans getting involved in bar fights. But whereas BJ Penn was the one lying unconscious in the street, Melvin Guillard was doing all the knocking out.

Former UFC lightweight striker Guillard flattened a boorish patron while working as a bouncer at the Ginn Mill bar in Denver, Colorado, back in June 2018.

The 36-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of second degree assault, with TMZ Sports website releasing new footage of last year’s incident on Tuesday night.

Guillard (MMA record 31-31-2, 3 no contests) – who is now a bare-knuckle boxer – was approached by a man as other bouncers were removing a different patron from the bar. He then pushed the man away with one arm before dropping him on the pavement with one punch.

The man was unconscious for around 30 seconds before others helped him up. He suffered undisclosed injuries and pressed charges against Guillard, who was arrested on felony assault charges – which also pertained to a different bar brawl in September 2018.

In that second fight, Guillard was captured on camera allegedly knocking out two men at another Colorado bar.
