The war of words between Dustin Poirier and Colby Covington has taken another turn.

“The Diamond” kicked off the row with his fellow American Top Team fighter at Saturday’s UFC 242 post-event press conference in Abu Dhabi.

“Jorge [Masvidal] is a buddy of mine, I don’t sell out like f****** Colby Covington and talk bad about people who I roll with,” Poirier said after his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Covington responded by calling Poirier’s comments “childish” and “distasteful”, saying Poirier was just angry because he picked Khabib to beat him.

Now former lightweight interim champion Poirier has escalated things further.
