UFC: Conor McGregor is a bad influence on his children, says Justin Gaethje – ‘I’ll never respect you’
- American doubles down on criticism of former UFC champion – ‘you cannot represent yourself like that and expect your child to respect you’
- ‘If he wants to come back, I’m right here man. I’m the perfect guy to bring him back’
Justin Gaethje is fighting Donald Cerrone in the main event of UFC Vancouver this weekend. But it was a tweet to Conor McGregor that has caused a bigger stir.
The American called the Irishman a “s*** human, father and husband”, responding to McGregor’s demand for a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov on social media.
And ahead of Saturday night’s fight, Gaethje doubled down on his criticism of “The Notorious” during a media scrum.
“I’ll take the winner of Khabib and Tony [Ferguson] and if the little Irish f*** wants to come back I’m right here man. I’m the perfect guy to bring him back,” he said.
“I will never stray from the truth, that’s the truth. There’s nothing else to it. It had nothing to do with fighting, nothing to do with wanting to get a fight.
