Tyron Woodley has mocked “complete dumb a**” Colby Covington for his missed UFC welterweight title opportunities.

Former interim welterweight champion Covington looked set to finally get his crack at the title against Kamaru Usman at UFC 244 on November 2.

But the two were passed over for the Madison Square Garden main event after failing to agree a fight. Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal stepped in and will fight for the “BMF” belt.

“Colby does a good job of putting his own foot in his mouth,” Woodley told a fan Q&A at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver. “I know people say that about me, but he’s a complete dumb a**.

“He’s talked himself out of three world title fights. He was supposed to fight me before I fought [Darren] Till, he b****** out of that fight.
