Well, if you thought Israel Adesanya was going to let Jon Jones’ most recent comments about him slide, guess again.

“Stylebender” has added some more fuel to the fire for a potential mega-fight with “Bones”, calling the UFC light heavyweight champion “jealous” and “intimidated”.

Jones had thrown some more shade Adesanya’s way on Twitter, after the new middleweight champion said he wouldn’t fight him until 2021.

“By the time this kid gets his confidence together, I’ll probably already be in the heavyweight division. I don’t need to wait until 2021 to start believing in myself,” Jones had tweeted.

“You saw what I did this weekend. You know what confidence is?” Adesanya responded on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. “This guy, he’s trying to force my hand. I’m not stupid. It’s not about I’m not confident, trust me I’ll f*** this [expletive] up when I fight him.

“I have to do what I have to do. I’m just defending my belt. I’m the new middleweight king, there’s four more killers I have to f*** up at middleweight first. And then I’ll move up in weight, then I’ll jump up and f*** this guy up. I can’t wait.”
