One Championship: Xiong Jingnan warns Angela Lee ‘nothing can stop me’ taking her title in Tokyo
- Chinese champion says six months ago she ‘kept what was rightfully mine’ … now it’s my turn to go down to her weight class for the belt’
- Strawweight promises the shackles will be off for rematch – ‘I hope to finish her in less than five rounds’

Xiong Jingnan has promised she won’t be as “conservative” in her rematch with Angela Lee – which is quite something given she stopped “Unstoppable” in that five-round war.
Six months on from keeping her strawweight title out of Lee’s clutches, “The Panda” moves down to challenge for the Singaporean’s atomweight belt.
The Chinese star sounded a defiant note in fight week, promising to walk out as a double champion.
“Six months ago, Angela went to my weight class and tried to get my belt, but I kept what was rightfully mine,” Xiong said at Thursday’s pre-event press conference. “Now it's my turn to go down to her class for the belt.
“Just like half a year ago, I will win this match. But unlike last time, I won’t leave without two belts on my shoulder.”
“There’s nothing that can stop me this time because I have 1.4 billion people standing behind me,” she said.
