Conor McGregor says he ‘designed’ BMF belt and Jorge Masvidal vs Nate Diaz winner on his radar

  • ‘The Notorious’ says he is the ‘real BMF’ and title belt was brought into life because of him
  • ‘I actually designed that. I signed off on the design of how they are creating it’

Dana White may have said the “BMF” belt is a “one and done”, but Conor McGregor has seemingly thrown himself into the imaginary division.

Jorge Masvidal fights Nate Diaz for the honour of being crowned the “baddest [expletive]” in the main event of UFC 244 at Madison Square Garden on November 2.

There’s even a “BMF” title belt, which will be wrapped around the waist of the winner by none other than WWE legend and Hollywood icon Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

“I designed that ‘Bad [expletive]’ belt,” McGregor said on Tuesday at a sponsor’s event in Kiev, Ukraine. “I actually designed that. I signed off on the design of how they are creating that belt.”

Conor McGregor is looking to return to the UFC Octagon.

While UFC president White hinted the belt won’t be defended, former featherweight and lightweight champion McGregor has it in his sights.

“So most certainly that belt was brought into fruition, brought to life because of me: the real bad [expletive],” the Irishman added.

“So most certainly one of those men [Diaz or Masvidal] is on my radar.”

McGregor has said he will hold a press conference in Moscow on Thursday, as speculation surrounding his UFC return continues.

White is targeting an early 2020 fight for “The Notorious”, who has called for a rematch against Russian lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
