Jorge Masvidal blasts Usada and says he’ll see Nate Diaz at UFC 244, then shuts down Kamaru Usman

  • ‘Gamebred’ tells Diaz ‘I know your game is clean’ after positive test for tainted supplements
  • Welterweight champion Usman offers to step in but Masvidal calls him a ‘clout chaser’

Jorge Masvidal has hit out at Usada after Nate Diaz said he was out of their UFC 244 main event.

Diaz rocked the MMA world on Thursday night, dropping a bombshell in a statement on Twitter that he was told he had tested positive for “tainted supplements” and would not be fighting in New York next weekend.

Masvidal and Diaz were set to fight for the “BMF” belt – and the distinguished honour of being crowned the “baddest [expletive] in the game”.

“You not the baddest mofo in the game (i am) but you are one of the cleanest mofo’s @NateDiaz209 I’ll see you nov 2. I know your name is clean. I don’t need @usantidoping to tell me s***!” Masvidal tweeted.

Nate Diaz takes to Twitter to say he is not going to fight at UFC 244 in NYC.

UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman was quick to weigh in on Twitter saying he would happily step in at Madison Square Garden.

“I’ll fight in Nov and Dec. that’s what a BMF does now come see me!! #THECHAMP #MSG” he wrote, tagging UFC president Dana White and his manager Ali Abdelaziz.

UFC must make ‘BMF’ belt more than just a one-and-done

Masvidal shut that idea down though, telling the Nigerian to “shut the f*** up*. “You wouldn’t fight me with 7 weeks notice. You not fighting me on 10 days notice. cloutchaser.com” he added in a tweet.

“Gamebred” even teamed up with old foe Ben Askren – whom he knocked out in five seconds in July with a flying knee on his way to MMA superstardom – to continue his verbal beatdown on Usman.

“Marty [Usman] is lying. He won’t fight Jorge,” tweeted Askren, who was preparing to weigh in on Friday morning local time ahead of his UFC Singapore main event against Demian Maia.

“Wow. Even Ben can smell your bull s*** @USMAN84kg all the way from Singapore,” Masvidal tweeted. “stfu you p**** and go drive your face into someone’s crotch. Good luck this weekend Ben #theresurrection”.
