UFC 244: Jorge Masvidal binged on pizza and fries after Nate Diaz drugs test failure – ‘a bit of anxiety came’
- ‘Gamebred’ admits he was certain ‘BMF’ fight would be cancelled ‘because of some lab screw-up’
- ‘If I get anxiety or depression, I take to eating,’ Masvidal says, but he adds ‘you better believe I’m not missing weight’

Jorge Masvidal revealed he binged on two pizzas, fries and “other things I shouldn’t put in my body” after finding out about Nate Diaz’s positive drugs test.
Diaz rocked the world of MMA on Thursday night, declaring in an angry Twitter statement he was out of the UFC 244 main event for the “BMF” title because of elevated levels of a banned substance, later put down to a tainted supplement.
“Gamebred” admitted he thought Diaz’s social media post was Photoshopped at first but then became anxious when he realised it was real.
“If I get anxiety or depression, I take to eating,” he told MMAFighting.com.
“A little bit of anxiety came – not anxiety in the sense that I thought Nate was a cheater, because I never thought he was a cheater. Just being certain that they might pull my fight because of some lab screw-up because some f****** weird-a** s***,” Masvidal said.
