Corey Anderson has apologised for his angry outburst in the Octagon after getting a first-round TKO win against Johnny Walker at UFC 244.
“Overtime” pulled out an upset victory at Madison Square Garden, putting his name in the mix for a light heavyweight title shot.
“I want to say I apologise to @Johnnywalkermma, fans, friends, family, and my past athletes for the way I behaved,” Anderson tweeted.

“ That was no way shape or form who I am as a person or a professional. I was taught to be a good sport. And that was not that. Emotions got the best of me.”
Walker (17-4) had been steamrollering through the division but Anderson (13-4) derailed his title hopes with some precise power punching that put the Brazilian out on his feet.
