Paige VanZant's time with the UFC could very well be coming to an unexpected end. With just a single bout remaining on her contract she has stated publicly she plans to test the waters of free agency once the opportunity presents itself.

Wherever her career winds up going, flyweight competitor and Instagram superstar VanZant, 25, will be well off and more than capable of finding ways to be wealthy.

But with One Championship continuing to work into the American market, surely the idea of VanZant versus atomweight champion Angela Lee or strawweight titlist Xiong Jingnan would have the Singapore-based promotion’s brass seeing dollar signs.

We've already seen One Championship make their move on several big-name UFC free agents over this past year, to varying levels of success. With two rather intriguing divisions for VanZant to compete in, especially as the champions need some new challengers, there's a strong possibility One would open up their wallets for her.

They did so for a somewhat similarly positioned Sage Northcutt after all. We’ve seen glimpses of their talent and it’s not their fault he and VanZant were deemed the golden boy and girl of the UFC too soon.
