UFC’s Walt Harris writes emotional tribute to Aniah Blanchard after death confirmed by police

UFC heavyweight Walt Harris has written an emotional tribute to his stepdaughter Aniah Blanchard after the missing 19-year-old was confirmed dead by Alabama authorities.

Police confirmed on Wednesday that skeletal remains found in a wooded area were those of Auburn college student Blanchard, who had last been seen on October 23.

Three men have been arrested, with police treating the investigation as a murder case.

“My sweet baby girl ... I just wanna thank you for helping me change my life for the better,” Harris wrote in an Instagram post.”

“For teaching me how to be a man and a better father! For being my biggest fan win, lose, or draw! For always knowing what to say to put a smile on my face and lift me up when I was down and wanted to give up.
