Jorge Masvidal viciously exposed Colby Covington after the former training partner called him “Street Judas” and “Journeyman Jorge” at a UFC press conference on Thursday.
The Cuban-American Masvidal took to Twitter to expose Covington's training days, recounting embarrassing tales and saying the controversial fighter “sold out”.
Covington will fight for the welterweight title against champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 245 on Sunday, with fans calling for a bout against friend-turned-enemy Masvidal should he win.
“Remember when I used to let you sleep on the couch? You were crying [because] those Brazilian girls punked you and I put you on,” the 35-year-old Masvidal tweeted. “I fed you, clothed you and you sold out for 7 likes [.] Sad that's all you got for a title fight. 13th disciple is a b**** #theresurrection.”
Masvidal, who used to train with Covington at American Top team, fell out with “Chaos” after claiming he did not pay their coach.
