UFC 245: Colby Covington says Jorge Masvidal is ‘scared’ to fight him

- ‘He’s trying to pivot and fight some boxers … He’s looking for one last pay cheque because he’s at the end of the road’

There’s clearly no love lost between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal.
Should Covington get through Kamaru Usman and win the welterweight title in the main event of UFC 245, he’s likely to have to defend the belt against Masvidal first.
But “Chaos” thinks his former friend and American Top Team training partner, who has risen to superstardom in 2019, would be a pushover.

“That's the priority, but he's not going to want to fight,” Covington told Bleacher Report. “We trained together for 10 years. The guy is a complete jobber. He's a journeyman.
“I've literally never lost one second of one round against him [in training], and that is literally, truly not fake news.”
