Volkan Oezdemir saw off the challenge of Aleksandar Rakic with a razor-thin split decision in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night Busan.

All three judges scored the fight 29-28, two for “No Time”, who improved his record to 17-4 and made it back-to-back victories, as the former title contender continues to rebuild his momentum.

“I’ve been on the wrong side of a decision already, against Dominick Reyes,” Oezdemir said during his post-fight interview in the Octagon. “And now it really is a good thing.

“Once Reyes comes back, I’m gonna be waiting for him.”

Reyes is of course fighting light heavyweight champion Jon Jones next in Houston in February at UFC 247.
