Frankie Edgar was understandably down after his first-round TKO by “The Korean Zombie” Jung Chan-sung at UFC Busan. Even more so after the social media trolls piled on.
“Why do the negative comments always get to you the most?” Edgar tweeted.
Jung dropped the former lightweight champion multiple times, and took his back for a long stretch in between, with referee Marc Goddard stepping in after three minutes and 18 seconds at Sajik Arena on Saturday night.

“Thanks for the love from most of you out there,” Edgar added. “To the others I’m sure it won’t be your last s***** comment to dish out. Let’s not give power to these people. Thanks for the [love] to the real ones out there!”
Several prominent names in MMA were quick to give veteran Edgar some words of encouragement, including Conor McGregor.
