UFC: Kamaru Usman says ‘bum’ Jorge Masvidal is ducking him for Conor McGregor

  • Usman seemingly angered by Masvidal’s claim the welterweight champion is ‘out indefinitely’ with injury
  • ‘He’s doing everything possible to avoid taking this L,’ tweets Usman
Despite Jorge Masvidal saying he’s “moving on” from Conor McGregor, Kamaru Usman isn’t buying it.

“Gamebred” and UFC welterweight champion Usman were both sitting cageside at UFC 246 to watch McGregor TKO Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds, seemingly ready for the Irishman to call them out.

Former featherweight and lightweight champion McGregor didn’t single any future opponents out in his post-fight promo in the Octagon, though.

And Masvidal got the impression McGregor doesn’t want to fight him – but also said he might be in limbo after seeing Usman wearing a cast on his hand at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“He’s out indefinitely, like two years or something, I dunno,” he told Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. “I’m not waiting for nobody’s ass.

“I’ll find somebody to dismantle in the meantime. This is the only thing that helps me with my anxiety, my low self-esteem issues – I have to kick somebody’s ass.”

“Who’s out indefinitely?” Usman tweeted however, seemingly after being made aware of Masvidal’s comments.

“For all you real fans out there that know what’s up @GamebredFighter is doing everything possible to avoid taking this L,” Usman wrote in another tweet.

“@danawhite has spoken so STFU and take this ass whooping like the journeyman you are and then you can go fight Conor #OnceaBumalwaysaBum”
