Dominick Reyes felt “disrespected” after learning one the judges scored his UFC 247 main event loss 49-46 to Jon Jones.
Several viewers – including UFC president Dana White – thought Reyes (professional MMA record 12-1) won the headliner in Houston, Texas on Saturday night. But the judges concluded it was a unanimous decision for the light heavyweight champion, handing the 30-year-old Reyes his first loss.
“I do feel disrespected. One of the judges had 49-46 – like who are you?” said a disappointed Reyes at the post-fight press conference. “I might want to have a word with you. I know I won that fight. I don’t have to watch the replay.

The 32-year-old Jones, who is considered by many to be the No 1 pound-for-pound MMA fighter of all time, was out-struck by Reyes in most rounds but considered his takedown-heavy performance a “dominant” one.
