Conor McGregor took his trolling of Diego Sanchez to another level after retweeting a mock-up fight poster squaring off him and the UFC veteran for the recently announced Dublin card this August.

Sanchez controversially beat Michel Pereira via disqualification at UFC Fight Night 167 last weekend. The veteran was likely down two rounds and decided he could not continue having been kneed in the face illegally in the third round.

The original tweet read, “UFC officially announces [Conor McGregor’s] long awaited return to Ireland! He will be facing future [Hall of Fame] legend [Diego Sanchez].”

Immediately after the fight, McGregor also tweeted “Conor McGregor vs Diego Sanchez”, inevitably causing a stir on social media. Both have since been deleted.

Pereira (22-11, 2 NC), who was well on his way to beating Sanchez via decision had he not illegally kneed the American’s head, replied to McGregor’s tweet.

“I will still fight you one day, I am growing every day to fight with the best and you are one on my list, wait for me to arrive and I will dominate my category!” the Brazilian said, to which McGregor replied in incomprehensible Portuguese.
