If you still had any doubts, it’s clear that Khabib Nurmagomedov really isn’t keen on rematching Conor McGregor.

After the UFC lightweight champion praised Tony Ferguson as his “toughest opponent”, he rounded on former two-division king McGregor, saying the Irishman is unworthy of another shot.

McGregor was of course submitted by Khabib in their heated October 2018 bout where the bad blood spilled outside the Octagon, and only just returned to action last month, picking apart Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds at welterweight.

“‘Cowboy’ always lose his main event fights. I think last 10 fights he lose seven times [actually six]. He is not high-level fight. His time is finished. Conor picked very good opponent,” the Russian told TMZ Sports.

“He have to fight with really tough opponent like Justin Gaethje or something like this. He has to come back to lightweight division and cut weight. He just want easy fight.”
