Demetrious Johnson is keeping a close eye on the coronavirus outbreak in Asia but is hopeful it won’t stop him competing for the One Championship flyweight title.

“Mighty Mouse” is set to face Adriano Moraes at “One: Infinity” on April 10 in Jakarta, Indonesia, which confirmed its first two cases of the disease on Monday.

“As of right now, the coronavirus, it’s just being very impactful – not just in Asia but also in our current location, Washington,” Johnson told Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show.

“We had two deaths here – that nursing room is about eight minutes away from the gym. But as long as the CDC [Centre for Disease Control] cannot put any travel ban on us not getting out of Seattle and over to Jakarta …

“Jakarta hasn’t really came out and said they had any cases, but then again who knows if they’re testing over there?” Johnson added, speaking also on Monday.
