Joanna Jedrzejczyk is finally back recovering in Poland after going through a five-round war with strawweight champion Zhang Weili at UFC 248.

The former champ underwent surgery on her ear in her home country, as the gruesome facial injuries she suffered in Las Vegas continue to heal.

The 32-year-old suffered a huge hematoma on her forehead, and had hidden her face from the cameras since being discharged from hospital in the US, where she remained for a week as the swelling subsided.

But Jedrzejczyk revealed to her fans in a video on social media some of the facial discolouring and bruising she is still dealing with from the fight of the year contender she put on with Zhang.

“Hello guys, I made it home. I’m in Poland. I’m happy to be back home. I took a long shower, and unpacked some stuff,” she said in the video.
