Conor McGregor clearly wasn’t too impressed to see Tony Ferguson make weight on Friday for his now-cancelled UFC 249 fight against Justin Gaethje.

“Hahahajaj. You will be bet to the absolute nucleus pulposus when I get you, kid,” former feather lightweight and featherweight champ McGregor wrote in an almost incoherent tweet (which was later deleted).

The Irishman’s message came after Ferguson posted a video of himself weighing in at 155lbs, on what would have been the day before his showdown against Gaethje.

ESPN and its parent company Disney had told Dana White to “stand down” last week as the UFC president pushed ahead with holding the April 18 event at a casino on tribal land in California, which would’ve allowed them to skirt statewide coronavirus restrictions.

But “El Cucuy”, who is on a 12-fight win streak in the UFC and had already seen a proposed match-up with lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov fall apart for a fifth time since 2015, was determined to prove a point.
