UFC: Henry Cejudo says he’ll marry Jose Aldo so they can fight in the US
- Cejudo ‘not letting Aldo off the hook’ after Brazilian’s visa issues amid coronavirus crisis scupper bout
- ‘I will be willing to get on one knee … Jose Aldo you’re next,’ says bantamweight champ

Henry Cejudo is still hell-bent on fighting Jose Aldo. So much so, he’s even willing to tie the knot with the UFC featherweight legend.
Bantamweight champion Cejudo faces Dominick Cruz in the co-main event at UFC 249 in Florida this weekend. But he was originally set to defend the belt against Aldo, despite the Brazilian losing his bantamweight debut last December. Former 145-pound champion Aldo was on the wrong side of a controversial split decision against bantamweight challenger Marlon Moraes at UFC 245, but impressed Cejudo and UFC boss Dana White enough to skip the queue.
The title fight was scuppered, though, with Aldo stranded in Brazil because of the coronavirus crisis.
“The thing is, I’m not letting Jose ‘Baldo’ off the hook,” Cejudo told ESPN’s SportsCenter. “He’s gotta man up to me now. I told people if I have to marry him to get him to this country, because I know he’s having visa problems, then that’s what I’ll do so we can fight.”
“I will be willing to get on one knee. I ain’t letting that guy off the hook. Jose Aldo, you’re next,” Cejudo said.
