UFC 249: Francis Ngannou knocks out Jairzinho Rozenstruik in 20-second blitz to lay claim for title shot

Francis Ngannou displayed his freak power as he blitzed Jairzinho Rozenstruik in 10 seconds to register a swift knockout victory at UFC 249 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Ngannou cut a concerned figure as he stood over Rozenstruik as he was attended by medics following the mauling he inflicted on the previously unbeaten Rozenstruik.
Ngannou improved his record to 15-3 as he extended his winning streak to four following victories over Junior dos Santos, Cain Velasquez and Curtis Blaydes since November 2018.
Following the win, the Cameroonian spoke of his frustration that his wait for a shot at the heavyweight title goes on.
“I was expecting this fight to be for the title, after [the Junior dos Santos victory] – it didn’t happen,” said the 33-year-old. “We asked for an interim title fight on this fight. They didn’t make it.
