UFC commentator Joe Rogan ‘excited’ to sign US$100 million podcast deal with Spotify
- ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ will be available on Spotify starting in September and will be exclusive to the platform from the end of the year
- Rogan vows the show will remain free and Spotify will have no creative control

UFC commentator Joe Rogan has announced his hit YouTube podcast will be moving exclusively to Spotify.
Financial details were not released, but The Wall Street Journal reported the multi-year licensing deal with Spotify Technology SA is worth more than US$100 million.
The Joe Rogan Experience will be available on Spotify starting in September, as well as other platforms, before becoming exclusive to Spotify – including the video version – at the end of the year.
“I’m excited to have the support of the largest audio platform in the world and I hope you folks are there when we make the switch!” Rogan wrote on social media.
“It will remain free and it will be the exact same show. It’s just a licensing deal, so Spotify won’t have any creative control. They want me to just continue doing it the way I’m doing it right now,” he added.
