ONE Championship: Angela Lee denies she’s ducking Denice Zamboanga for Stamp Fairtex – ‘that’s just stupid’
- Atomweight champion Lee says ‘let’s make it happen’ after potential fight vs Stamp tops fan poll
- ‘I don’t need to dodge anyone or call anyone out because I’m already the champ,’ says Lee

Angela Lee has said she doesn’t need to dodge anyone – nor call them out – in ONE Championship after some online backlash came the way of the atomweight MMA champ.
“Unstoppable” Lee (10-2) expressed an interest in facing atomweight Muay Thai champion Stamp Fairtex after the potential bout topped an online poll put out by ONE asking fans for their dream super fight in the promotion.
That didn’t go down too well with Denice Zamboanga’s army of Filipino fans who see “The Menace” as the rightful next contender for Lee’s title.
“So the comments section of my last post got a little spicy,” Lee wrote in a Facebook post. “Here's the thing guys, whether my next fight is Stamp or Denice, it really doesn't matter to me.
“ONE just hosted a contest to see which match-up the fans wanted to see the most. The fans voted that they wanted to see me vs Stamp even more than Giorgio Petrosyan and Nieky Holzken! So shoot, if that's the fight to make, then let's make it happen!
